Does anyone else have mixed feelings about last night’s episode? I mean, the flashback was cool, but we barely saw Stiles and Scott. Plus, it might have been the longest flashback in the world. And I kind of feel like the episode was a filler one. Even though they did tie in the Nogitsune and the Nemeton, which was pretty awesome, both Kira and Scott get bored with the flashback and keep telling Noshiko to get to the point (which she probably could have done in like two minutes, instead of a 40 minute long episode).
And what about Isaac?
Did Leonardo DiCaprio win an Oscar yet?
Can we all just take a second to talk about the way Stiles looks at himself in the mirror after seeing Malia in the shower?
That is all.
I think this was the defining moment where I realized how much I love Stiles’s character. The show came back and he’s just standing a step behind Scott, crying. He doesn’t care about looking masculine or tough; he doesn’t care that everyone standing around him– these powerful, great creatures–can see him breaking down. He just wants his dad back.
I love that vulnerability. It’s so raw and so true. Like when Lydia was hugging Jackson and you could see Stiles’s heart just breaking and there he was again, standing behind Scott, tears in his eyes. Behind that amazingly funny sarcasm is just a sixteen-year-old who has lost too much in his life. I just love him.
It’s Valentine’s day!
(But really, when is it not his day?)
“The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars,
But in ourselves, that we are underlings.”
i did see this a bunch of months ago but I had no idea it was still up! Such perseverance! I am honored.
So in celebration of the reveal of the cover of City of Heavenly Fire, i decided to pay a visit to Blackfriars Bridge, especially considering today is my last day in London! So i went and walked around day dreaming about Jem, Tessa and Will. And i saw that sign! Needless to say it MADE MY DAY! Hahaha @iamfandom I have mad respect for you. When did you put that sign up? How long has it been there undisturbed? Has cassandraclare seen this? ^_^
I’m just saying, what if the reason Two-Bit is still a junior at 18 isn’t because he likes being in school, or because he’s not smart, but because he wants to protect Ponyboy? I mean, think about it. Ponyboy just turned 14 and is a freshman, and Two-Bit should technically be a senior, but that would only give him one year to be in school with Ponyboy. Sodapop isn’t in school anymore. Johnny is too broken. Steve doesn’t really like Ponyboy. There’s no one else who could watch over him and make sure he doesn’t get hurt, especially since he’s so young and a bit naive. And we know Two-Bit cares a lot about Ponyboy cause he was ready to start a search party for him and go to Texas. And he came “blubbering” to Darry when Ponyboy was hurt because he knew Ponyboy was sick and he still let him fight in the rumble. Remember how Darry told Ponyboy how upset Two-Bit was that night? I think Two-Bit is smarter than we give him credit for.
